
ENGLISH LANGUAGE – INTERMEDIATE
Intermediate English Course is designed to help intermediate English Course Students develop their intermediate English language skills so that they can begin experimenting with speaking, reading, writing, and listening.
Integrated Skills Course
Intermediate English Course Objectives:
1. Participate in most routine social conversations and tail about needs and familiar topics or personal relevance.
2. Understand simple exchange, common daily instructions, direct questions about familiar topics, routine media announcements, etc.
3. Understand the purpose, main ideas, and some detail in some authentic 2-3 paragraph tests.
4. Effective convey an opinion, feeling, or experience in a simple paragraph.
5. Write short letters and note on a familiar topic.
6. Use and understand a range of common everyday vocabulary.
7. Use a variety of simple structures and some complex ones when speaking.
8. Effectively communicate basic needs in a culturally appropriate manner.
9. Participate with some effort in routine social conversations.
10. Talk with confidence about needs and familiar topics of personal relevance.
11. Show relatively fluent and connected speech.
12. Follow very broadly the gist of oral communication between native speakers in more demanding contexts (e.g radio broadcasts, formal conversations, etc.)
13. Catch the main point in short, clear, simple messages.
14. Show a range of common everyday vocabulary.
